"My Dad is Dead"--Yikes!

I just saw an episode yesterday that put the "C" in cringe. Tom Poston asked Contestant #2 what his father did for a living, and he sharply answered, "My Dad is dead." Not surprisingly, from that moment on, the panel focused mostly on Contestants 1 and 3, and no one voted for #2 at all! 
