Billy Magnusson on In Plain Sight

Did anyone catch Billy (Casey Hughes) on In Plain Sight on June 12, 2011? He played Yonni/Johnny. He was very good and I really think he has a big future ahead of him.

He grew on me as well. He is currently on Vampire Diaries. I wasn't a big fan of Billy's Casey at first but he really grew on me. I love it when an actor wins me over after a recast!

Are you talking about Zach Roering?,

Because he went onto to do Friday Night Lights, and is currently a regular on The Vampire Diaries and during the last few episodes on that series he was given more to do than he had been given in the first and mostly the second season. Now that his character knows about the vampires, werewolves and witches, and he helped rescue two of the main characters, he'll be used more.

Billy Magnuson is making the guest star rounds, he'll be on L&O: CI June 19th which also airs on the same cable channel as In Plain Sight, he was on the original L&O a few years back.

His straight to DVD movie Blood Night: The Legend of Mary Hatchet (2009) was just released after sitting on a shelf for 3 years, which isn't a good sign.

He and Meredith Hagner (the first Liberty) are in a film together that is suppose to come out next year. Meredith was on In Plain Sight back in May.

We assume that we exist, and there is reality, and that the matter of which we are made is real.

He was on "Law & Order: CI" Matt Cavenaugh the actor playing his under study in the episode played Adam Munson after Matthew Morrison left the role.

Magnusson's characters seem to always get killed off in the L&O franchise.

Movies will make you famous; Television will make you rich; But theatre will make you good.

I watch both shows and was surprised to see him on them. He looked very different at the beginning of In Plain Sight as his hair was dark and he was wearing a beard.

I thought Magnussen was one of the best recast in the later years of the show. I liked him in the part. I also thought Noelle Beck was very good as Lily. Martha Byrne really was Lily but Beck did a very good job in a tough situation and was a fine substitute. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for most of the others, including Kelly Hensley as Emily and Roger Howarth as Paul. I was a fan of the actors who preceeded them in the parts and never liked either of these two in these roles.

No I don't watch that show, but I did catch him on Law and Order CI: this week, I was looking forward to seeing him again on screen but importunately he was the victim so his part was short, I miss all my ATWT actors

reply

I miss the ATWT Actors too. Billy was in "Into the Woods"--he has a nice singing voice.
