Ha! Jus' kiddin...
But, while I've only seen one episode of this show... I did like it! An interesting twist on the western hero w/out a gun.
HOWEVER...
The "knife fights" were almost comical, as they spared & parried the way one might fight with a full sized sword. That looked damn silly.
But, it was still corny fun.

"Corny" is right....but so much fun. My mother gave my husband a boxed set of 150 hours of TV Westerns for Christmas and we are picking our way through them. Actually, this series isn't the worst of them. I kind of remember it from my childhood when we were more eaily amused. As for the David Bowie comment, you may have already read that David (born David Jones) decided to rename himself to avoid confusion with Davy Jones of Monkees fame. He chose "Bowie" because he did admire Jim Bowie and the Bowie knife. (Like I said, I read this. It's either true or another one of those stories that sucks you in and makes you look foolish when you repeat it.)
