I absolutely love this movie

I can't believe I missed seeing this fantastic movie on AMC! It is without doubt my very favorite Christmas movie! I'm so glad my mil introduced me to such great classics as this gem!!

This is my favorite Christmas movie! If you really love it I'd suggest you buy it soon. The price goes up on Amazon every year, now at $50. EBay doesn't had e it anymore except on VHS. My daughter found a copy at a bookstore by accident & gave it to her Nana. I finally found it last night online last night for a reasonable $12.95! I still paid Amazon to rent it because I can't keep waiting since I missed the run on TV. This movie is one of the most overlooked movies Christmas or otherwise, imho. I'm glad someone outside my family thinks is great too! I wish had could find more to read about. Besides a clever script the 3 convicts play off each other so well! The appreciation the convicts show towards a loving family is so wonderful. The family being so loving towards one another & even giving the convicts a chance is new to the 3 and to many viewers too I would think! All together it's an amazing movie!!!

I haven't seen it in a few years. I'm looking forward to watching it tonight!

I love watching this movie during the holidays! I'm so excited it's that time again!!

I suspect that a big reason it's not more widely known-of and appreciated is that, as great comedies go, it's not jam-packed with side-splitting laughter-inducing gags, like "A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to the Forum" or "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World". But it is enjoyably amusing throughout, and I watch it every time it comes on. It's a thoroughly entertaining movie.
