It is coming on the Encore Western Channel on 9-18-08 (Thurs)!

It starts at 12:30 A.M. EST. Please double check your local tv guide for the time in your area. It is shown fairly often on this channel. Don't miss this western if you have never seen it. It is a good action type western with a great cast and in color with beautiful scenery. Glenn Ford, Barbara Stanwych and Edward G. Robinson are great together and Brian Keith and Dianne Foster are very good in important supporting roles. Enjoy!

Of course it is now 2012 and I have not seen it listed on Encore Western channel in the last couple of years that I have followed that channel. However, it has been on TCM three times in the last 18-24 months...was just on two nights ago. But my point in posting here is to complain about Encore not using the Letterbox or Widescreen format. Sure, I would rather see it in a "full screen" format than not at all but that is why I prefer TCM over Encore....because TCM broadcasts in widescreen or letterbox when the motion picture is new enough to broadcast that format.
