Untamed can be found in its entirety on Hulu ( http://www.hulu.com/watch/80537/untamed ).

I recall having watched this film back in the '50s, and it came vividly to mind later when I was reading through South African history, particularly when coming across the stories of the Voortrekkers' fractious interactions with the Ndebele (the Battle of Vegkop, 16 October 1836) and the amaZulu (Dingane's utterly treacherous massacre of Piet Retief and his party on 6 February 1838 and the Zulus' catastrophic defeat at the Battle of Blood River on 16 December 1838).

Untamed suffered its unfortunate eclipse entirely because of galloping political correctness during the era of Apartheid, when the overwhelmingly "Liberal" entertainment industry in these United States became dedicated without thought or sense to the kneejerk condemnation of all native Africans who were of European descent.

Based on what I have seen and heard in life conservatives are far more likely to be racist sexist homophobic narrow minded and hateful, Liberals seem to be more likely to be open minded and kind but exceptions are always possible.
