I heard that Rafael Campos, the kid who played Angel Chavez, was married to Dinah Washington in real life. Has anyone else heard this?

Rafael Campos, Angel in "Trial" was briefly married to blues great Dinah Washington (1961-62).
Ms. Washington was married seven times. None of her marriages lasted more then a few years.

Boy, was I ever dumfounded when I read that in her biography years ago. Hey, he had good taste. She's the best female vocalist I've ever heard.

Ms. Washington was married to both Campos and Dick "Night Train" Lane, an N.F.L. cornerback who STILL holds the record for most interceptions in a season (14 in 1952) despite the fact that his season was only 12 games! Lane was a 24-year-old rookie who walked on to the Los Angeles Rams training camp because he was a bored with his job at an aircraft factory!
I'd do anything to know the conversations Ms. Washington had with either Lane or Campos.
