Does anyone know what the make or model of that machine gun is? I did a little search on google but I didn't have any luck. Also checked Wiki

It is a Lewis Gun. Search for that on wikipedia for the details.

I find it humorous that when Rory is holding and firing the Lewis gun, that there is no recoil whatsoever.The Lewis gun during that period was usually found as the main armament of British aircraft during WW1.

When I first saw it, my first thought was 'wow!' Second thought was that they modified some of them for use in Star Wars (lead stormtrooper on Mos Eisley) and, I believe, in The Empire Strikes Back (trench guns).

I didn't see any spare drums of ammo, or the drum on the gun ever being re-loaded.
