Are you referring to the wall item outside his bedroom, near the TV? It looks like a sculpture of a cupid-like figure.

Could you be referring to the odd looking hanger that Joe uses to hang his clothes when he's packing to leave? Is so, it's a special hanger that fits into a trunk or special suitcase. I see them a lot in old movies. I don't recall seeing them in newer ones.
