It was 49 years ago today...that one of the best science fiction
movies of the 1950's premiered in theatres...."TARANTULA" took to
the hills on December 14, 1955 !!! HAPPY "hairy' anniversary ,
Tarantula !The stalwart hero John Agar...the lovely Mara Corday...the definitive 1950's mad scientist Leo G. Carroll...and a real female spider named Tomorrow ! They all blended together to make a creepy, crawly giant bug nightmare ! And, it all came together in the capable hands of director Jack Arnold! May you crawl over those hills another 49 years, Tarantula!
