The desert in this flic becomes eerie & strangely haunted;

-just the beginning w\the mutant pj clad man wandering in the windswept empty desolation sets the tone.

Very well Arnold film directed and kudos to the cast(Leo Carroll,etc.).

Jack Arnold was good at creating spooky atmospheric desert scenes in his movies. I like the way he did it too in 'It Came From Outer Space.'
