This would depend entirely on what type of movies you like. This movie is not in the vain of the romantic comedies of its time like Roman Holiday. In fact it is pure romance with some comedy thrown in. If you like that and you like older movies then you may enjoy this. I personally love this movie.

girl meets boy. the end. there, i just saved you one and a half hour of dragging dullness. here are some additional observations, it starts off real fast paced but changes right after those opening credits, it's pretty much a "sight seeing movie", usually i like katharine hepburn but her role is so off putting and condescending, i can't believe how rude she was to the kid greeting her, my first impression was it's a french movie, considering the result it might as well have been, and having in mind how sophia loren treated her neighbour in a similar setting in "yesterday, today and tomorrow" doesn't help this. adding to that the comedy is awful, bitter and offensive. just as you think the movie can't get more off putting, it turns out the guy is married, so to be more accurate, it's not quite boy meets girl, but middle aged cheaters 💑 bless their hearts. after that i couldn't care less what happened to the main roles and thy make the sights ugly and story hard to follow, but going by the movie's message i think the line "i am a man, you are a woman" ought to be changed to "me male, you female" and use the wedding ring south to last longer. this reminds of how lauren bacall's career faded after bogart passed, the last major role i recall hepburn having was guess who's coming to dinner, which was tracy's last role, i was surprised to find out this was from 1955, it looks like a 1960's movie. shocker - critics like it.

realised lack since been gone,
