Rossano Brazzi
God he was gorgeous! I would've stayed in Venice!

I just watched the film and I agree, he was handsome.
IMO, Italian men are gorgeous men. I remember being in Rome and was flabbergasted because there wasn't one ugly Italian man.

It's so true - I travelled to Rome, Venice, and finally, Florence and everyone was so well put together. You couldn't tell the gay men from straight as all the men were coiffed and manicured immaculately. And, what a relief to see not ONE man in Italy wearing a ball cap! (Except for the tourists, of course.)
I just loved Italy! I wish I could live there...

I am partial to Italian men and he is a hunk...check him out in "The Barefoot Contessa", too.
shareMy Mom loved Rossano Brazzi, too. He resembled my Italian father.
shareI literally swooned and had what they used to call the vapors the first time Brazzi came on screen in this movie. I had never seen him before. I think I actually had palpitations.
Am I anywhere near the imaginary cliff?share
Yes, he's gorgeous. I had a crush on him when I saw "South Pacific" in my teens.
sharesame for me. i have never seen him before, and when he first appeared in summertime on my television i swear my eyes doubled in size and i gasped i was in such awe of this man's gorgeousness. unbelievable.

"Words have no power to impress the mind without the exquisite horror of their reality."
The first time I saw this film, about ten years ago, was the first time I realised how utterly gorgeous he was. I had seen him in films from my early childhood and in my childish eyes he always seemed old and unattractive. What an awakening this beautiful film was for me!
shareI agree. I saw him in lots of films in the 60s and 70s and never paid attention to him but realized how good looking he was in this one. Maybe because his character was a handsome man showing attention to a supposedly plain woman, and he was sincere.
shareI agree with everyone else.... Brazzi was almost painfully sexy and gorgeous in this film. Sadly, he didn't age very well and by the 60's, he had lost a lot of his appeal (not sure why, maybe he was a heavy drinker/smoker?)
Kate was an imbecile to leave Venice. I would stayed there for as long as Brazzi wanted me!
oh i totally agree :)
One of the most handsome, charming actors EVER.
