Was that James Coburn?

At about 13-14 minutes into the film during the battle at the river when the white people were escaping in boats there was a cavalry soldier we saw briefly who did not make it. He was only on camera trying to get away and then was killed. I would swear that it was James Coburn. Will someone attempt to answer this for me? Thank you.
