It is better than one might think and it is shown once in a while on TCM. The acting is good also but it is great to watch this great pianist (Liberace) perform.

shareI really enjoyed the movie. It had a good plot and great piano playing and the cast was very good. Liberace was a very good singer, actor and entertainer and a great master of the piano. This movie deserved better.

shareI remember back in the late '40s he used to race a Harley-Davidson in the half-mile and mile flat-track down at the fairgrounds. He was pretty good at that too. One night he won the main event even though he was riding with a broken collarbone. If he had been able to get better sponsorship, he probably would have been state champion. Good thing he had his piano playing to fall back on.
