Blu-ray
I just watched the new Blu-ray version of this, from Olive Films, last night, and it was a pleasure to see a company lavishing such attention on a low-budget, almost forgotten, not-quite-cult movie like this one. The image was excellent throughout--maybe a little less than excellent in the few outdoors scenes. The sound was good, but there were a few spots where it was garbled. That's a shame, because the dialogue (sometimes goofy, sometimes abruptly eloquent)is one of the real pleasures this film has to offer. Olive doesn't seem to believe in extras--not so much as a trailer--but they've done a nice job with the movie.
