Dean's Indiana farm boy roots show through......

Watched this movie again on TCM yesterday evening. It finally registered with me that Dean's mooing in the planetarium (when the presenter was pointing out the constellation of Taurus (the bull) was actually a very dead-on realistic imitation of what bulls really sound like. I grew up in farm country about a hundred miles away from Dean across the border in Illinois and have heard cows bawling many times. If you ask someone from a city to do an imitation of a cow they will invariably mouth out the word "moo" four or five times in succession ---but actually a real moo (especailly as given by a bull) is a long and stretched out bawl as in "mmmmooooooooooah".
