I'm surprised that nobody has answered your query before now, schweinhundt1967. (Perhaps they were scared by your name.) The character, like you, had a Germanic cognomen: 'Gluckmeister'. He was played by Anglo-Austrian character actor Eric Pohlmann (1913-1979). Pohlmann was also the (uncredited) voice of arch-villain Ernst Blofeld in two James Bond films: "From Russia With Love" (1963) and "Thunderball" (1965).
