Brilliant Prequel to 'Major Payne' !!!!!

This can be a lot like seeing the movie "Excalibur", and following it immediately with "Monty Python's Holy Grail" !!

Those of us who witnessed the days of "Father Knows Best", Rock Hudson & Doris Day, know that all of that manufactured perfect little society ideal destroyed many lives and almost our country.

Damon Wayans has taken this fundamentally good character out of the rigid two-dimensional frame of an imaginary society that never actually existed, and brought him, with all of his un-polished qualities to a still very uncommon, but believable set, where the story can be experienced without so much regurgitating.

The single reason that you have to see "The Private War of Major Benson", is that you HAVE to see "The Private War of Major Benson" FIRST, and then see "Major Payne" !! The new story is MUCH more believable, funny, real and the new School Nurse is absolutely the force to be reckoned with!!!
