What do you think happened afterward? ^^MAJOR SPOILERS^^

The movie ends with Tacey and Clint reuniting after the fires and Judith's death. What do you think happened next?

How quickly does Clint marry Tacey?

Do they wait a year out of respect for Judith?

Do they stay in Ransburg, or move away and start over? Even married to Clint, Tacey would have a hard time in Ransburg as everyone knew her past.

Clint likely inherited the Watrous fortune; did he keep it, refuse it, or gamble it away?

I think Clint married Tacey as soon as possible and left town with her and the children. The Watrous fortune would enable them to make a fresh start and live in a respectable manner.

Ironic that Tacey was deemed unfit to raise the children because she had worked in a casino, but nothing was said about Clint being a professional gambler in the same place.

I just watched this for the first time! Love it!!
My guess as to what happens next is that both Tacey & Clint wishing to be respectable town folk by doing what is proper, my guess is that they waited a year or so after the events that followed the death of Judith. Like you mentioned, he most likely inherited the estate &
financial assets.
I can see them waiting for all that dust to
settle. Heck, maybe they waited for the kids to graduate. That would certainly allow enough time for the judgmental ladies in town to simmer down. lol
That's my guess anyway.
