Oh... Rosalinda!! at MoMA, NYC

The Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York City (NYC) will be showing Oh... Rosalinda!! (OR!) on Saturday March 1st and on Monday March 3rd 2014, both at 4pm as a part of their "Vienna Unveiled: A City in Cinema" season to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Austrian Film Museum, Vienna.

The New Youk Times (NYT) says of the film:
"Oh... Rosalinda!!" - rarely screened, and not as famous as Powell and Pressburger's take on Offenbach's opera "The Tales of Hoffmann" in 1951 - sets the farcical roundelay of infidelity and hidden identity in postwar Vienna under the Allied occupation. Given its lush Technicolor and CinemaScope canvas, dizzyingly florid production design by Hein Heckroth and formidable cast (some dubbed while singing), including Michael Redgrave, Ludmilla Tcherina, Mel Ferrer and the Powell and Pressburger stalwart Anton Walbrook ("The Red Shoes"), the film runs the risk of collapsing under its own flamboyant weight. Instead, it bounces.
