Other than the studio that made the film, this was in every respect typical of the MGM films made in the late 40s and early 50s. Even the many of the stars were all current or former MGM contract players -- Betty Garrett, Janet Leigh, Kurt Kasznar, Bob Fosse, Tommy Rall ... This was also the "My Sister Eileen" that should have been "Wonderful Town".
