Whose voices?

Which voices were real, and which were dubbed in this movie?

reply

I think everybody was singing for themselves.

Just watched My Sister Eileen for the first time. If it's true that the voices weren't dubbed, like in West Side Story and My Fair Lady, I am very impressed with Janet Leigh. I never knew she could sing so well, and a good dancer too. Also Jack Lemmon. There is so much talent in this movie. I only thought the script was not that great.

Voices WERE dubbed in West Side Story & My Fair Lady. Natalie Wood, Richard Beymer, & Audrey Hepburn did not do their own singing

Janet Leigh was adorable in this.

Go back and read her reply. She MEANT there was dubbing in those two movies.

Yeah, it could've been better. Some (or most) things were too conveniently wrapped up. Overall, though, the film was entertaining.

Mag, Darling, you're being a bore.
