Robert Arden's acting was atrocious.

Don't tease me about my hobbies, I don't you about being an a$$hole

i thought Arden looked A LOT like Christian Bale, but when he is in Mexico he suddenly shifts into Michael Madsen mode. His acting is so b@tsh*t crazy that he could be Nicolas Cage as well. And then there's his voice which at times reminded me of Robert Mitchum and Mark Ruffalo.

but it was mostly the Bale resemblance that stuck with me.

I think he sounds exactly like Robert Wagner in this movie...I love Joe Mategna's voice...he does a lot of the Robert B Parker books on cd, and I love to listen to him.

I guess it's like looking at clouds. You see one thing and I see another. Peace.

I thought he sounded like Van Johnson. Because of the poor lip synch with the audio I wondered if Van Johnson had dubbed the role for the orignal actor when I happened upon the film on TCM.
