The characters
Interesting adaption from the novel.
Jon Whiteley was excellent in his role.
I enjoyed Moonfleet but upon reflection I wish Jeremy and John had more character development. Although it hints at Jeremy's relationship with John's mother serveral times I feel more could have been revealed in order to swing the audience more onto Jeremy's side, resulting in a stronger backstory.
As for John he was naive from beginning to end concerning Jeremy. The plot would have been improved if John had learnt from his experiences through out Moonfleet making him a stronger character.
"I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not".
