So-called Goof on the F-86H
The Goofs page includes the following:
Anachronisms: The F-86H which was mentioned at the end of the film (in which McConnell's widow talked to the test pilot) was not an F-86H because it was only built in Canada and could not be exported to the US.
The person who submitted this item does not know what he or she is talking about! There were other variants of the F-86 (specifically the F-86E and F-86F) that were built under license in Canada (some of which were imported back by the US at the height of the Korean War), but the F-86H was NEVER built in Canada and was built only in the US!
I've tried to correct his goof about three or four times but for some reason it hasn't been fixed.
I was in the Air Force and flew fighters in Korea in the early 1980s, so I know what the hell I'm talking about!
