Holliday of Georgia?? Possible Spoilers+

As so often happens in the fictional depictions of Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday, the Holliday character again steals the show in this William Castle outing.

Wyatt is a bit slow in this one and you're scratching your head to figure out what Doc saw in him. Watch for the classic scene where he tries to hold up an aggressive mob intent on a lynching and meekly surrenders when a rock is thrown at him.

Much of the movie focusses on a supposed feud between Holliday and Bat Masterson, who doesn't seem the least bit interested in cards in this movie and is played by George Montgomery, more along the lines of a regular town sheriff, who happens to be friendly with Marshall Earp.

It's all a bit of a giggle really, but James Griffith's interpretation of Holliday does capture the ambiguous, enigmatic nature of the man that Holliday apparently was IRL.

Not only had I not seen this film, I'd never heard of it? I only got to see a few min's on Movies so I hope they repeat soon.

Yeah I finally caught it and it was super low budget. Other than James Griffin not much to see here.
