I had the honor of reading Alan Marcus original novel (unpublished). A great story and a great movie.
Dan Duryea played an unforgettable role in this dark western. It was one of the first adult westerns. A great must see. I wish it would come out in DVD or be shown on the western channel.

If you haven't noticed already, it is currently on Encore's Western Channel.

Thank you. I found it on Encore Westerns and will record it on my DVR on next Saturday. I will also advise Allen Marcus, the one whose unpublished novel inspired it, of the timing. Again, thanks for the update.
