cowboy villains Sheb Wooley, Lee Van Cleef?

If Lee Van Cleef (one of the four gunmen in "High Noon") is hard or impossible to spot in "Man without a Star," that might mean he was NOT in "Star" after all? I notice that an important cowboy-villain actor of that decade, SHEB WOOLEY, does play the important role of "Latigo" in "Star." And 3 years earlier in "High Noon," this same Sheb Wooley played one of the four gunmen, alongside Van Cleef. Is it conceivable that a volunteer poster of updates to IMDB had seen "High Noon," recognized one of those four baddies here in "Star," but confused Sheb Wooley with Lee Van Cleef? With the result that the volunteer inserted the name of Van Cleef in "Star," when instead he really should have confirmed the name of Sheb Wooley in this '55 western..? -- Prof Steven P Hill, Cinema Studies, University of Illinois.

Is this the same Sheb Wolley that did "The Purple People Eater" in 1958??

LOL

I mean, how many Sheb Wooleys could there be in the 50's??

Jack Elam is at the beginning on the freight train.

Yes, the same Sheb Woolley of Purple People Eater fame. He also played on the first season or two of "Rawhide". Was not a villian there. I liked the part he played on "Rawhide".
