The anti-women sermonizing of this movie is repulsive. Great argument against religion.

There's nothing "anti-woman" about this movie and Catherine Marshall in fact was quite an independent woman in her own right.

Meantime, I suggest you take a look at the 18th century Jacobins of the French Revolution and you'll see a group of misogynists in the finest definition of the term.
