THIS MONUMENTAL CLASSIC DESERVES BETTER...DID YOU WHOM LOW RATED THIS EVEN VIEW THIS FILM?

I just saw it for the first time last night (46 years old), and I thought it was 8/10. Sirk, Stahl or Fassbinder handle melodrama better, but this was a nice effort.
