Lost (1955)

A friend has asked me to find out what TICKET MACHINE was used on a Green Line bus in this film? Its not an original 50`s Gibson, and its not a Bellpunch, which followed the Gibson.. I`ve actually found these machines on transport sites..of course theres every chance some other machine was used in the film, my friend notices these things! I`ve had an interesting time looking it all up, and if anyone can help...he also asked about the lighting in the bus? Its not fluorescent tube.. maybe bulb.. blimey, the things he notices!! He has an interest because he knows Green Line ex staff, and the company has been merged/taken over as so many others..they wont acknowledge the 75th anniversary because most people there now probably werent even alive then.

I can't help with the ticket type as I didn't notice such fine detail. However, I used to use both the 711 Green Line (Reigate to High Wycombe) from Belmont in Surrey to Northumberland Avenue and the 725 (Dartford to Windsor) from Sutton to Kingston on a regular basis in the late '50s and early '60s and my recollection of the lighting in those days was small bulbs. I saw Lost only yesterday (Wed 22nd Nov) on Film4 and don't think that the edit shown had any interior shots of a Green Line bus.
