Just Watched final Bomba film on TCM today!

Pretty good Bomba movie with stock footage of Africa, Bomba swinging for miles parallel on a vine, and a damsel in distress of course. Humorous dialogue. Early in the film Bomba explains to the girls Father regarding a young girls discipline, it is always best served to 'Spank the Monkey'. Another great scene is a fellow explorer arrives back in the Hut out of breath from running miles, and he collapses in a Chair. His fellow explorers run to his side and quickly hand him a cigarette and whiskey to bring him back his health. Overall a pretty good Bomba movie but one suggestion por favor? Bomba, you're 24 years old now and your voice is deeper than any other Man in this film. Put on some pants already!

Well, you do exaggerate some, he didn't actual say those words, 'spank the monkey' and I don't recall them offering the guy a cigarette and booze but that is pretty funny the way you said it. You made me laugh.

I enjoyed this Bomba movie as much as the rest but knowing it was his last one makes me sad to see it. Bomba came close many times but never got the girl. He just didn't have Tarzan's moves. Some of those Tarzan and Jane scenes are downright sexy.

Maybe if this had been the story of 'Boy' all grown up it might have been different. He would have learned from the man himself. In the jungle you just carry the girl off then let her teach you how it's done.
