PEARL HARBOR HYMN?

Somewhere on here someone complains that the cadets stand and all sing a hymn when the news of Pearl Harbor is announced in the Chapel.
I am British but even I can hear that the hymn is "MY COUNTRY TIS OF THEE"which seems the right sort of song to sing in the circumstances, and they would know all the words.

I'm surprised that it wasn't the actual Navy Hymn: "ETERNAL FATHER, STRONG TO SAVE". Come to think of it, I'm NOT so surprised: Anyone with any connection to the Navy, from a school chum, to a Wife, child, niece or nephew. A Brother, Sister or Husband... cries like a baby at the sound of "ETERNAL FATHER".

Ford probably wouldn't have gotten any work done at all, that day.

I do hope he won't upset Henry...
