Mistakenly titled 'Enter the Lone Ranger' on TV

I am watching this movie on television as I type this and somehow the TV station and the on-screen TV guide has this described as "Enter the Lone Ranger." They also have the release date listed as 1949 which, of course, is wrong. Apparently someone didn't do their homework because Enter the Lone Ranger was actually the first three episodes of The Lone Ranger TV series which started in 1949 and was filmed in black & white. This color movie was released to theaters in 1956 during the popularity of The Lone Ranger TV series. Unfortunately, the error I've described here will most likely never be corrected.

I noticed that right away. I have my DVR set to tape all of the Lone Ranger episodes. I was fortunate enough this past weekend to have the first episode on METV the 2nd & 3rd episodes on cozi. I love The Lone Range (name of the movie that played last night). Also love The Lone Ranger: Lost City of Gold playing tonight on cozi at 7 cdt I hope:-) COZI has the newer episodes (finally new episodes). KAS

The TV guide has made this mistake last year too on the COZI station. I guess if someone writes to them or sends them an e mail, they could correct it since they show much of the Lone Ranger episodes and movies
