Clayton Moore and Beverly Washburn

I still remember years ago when Clayton Moore came to Washinton to promote the
Savings Stamps program to encourage kids to save their money. According to the newspaper article nobody on his flight recognized him in "civilian clothes". Not surprising when you consider Moore never appeared in public without the mask.
For some reason Moore didn't include ZORRO'S FIGHTING LEGION among his credits, but you keep a close eye on the screen you might spot him.
I also met Beverly Washburn at an Antiues and Collectibles show a few years ago and told her I had seen her in SPIDER BABY. You could almost see her mouth his the floor.
"You saw SPIDER BABY?" and she called a friend of hers over. "He says he saw SPIDER BABY!"
When I told them I had it on tape, they were surprised since they didn't seem to know it had been released.
A lot of great character actors in this film, but I never noticed until recently that Kermit Maynard played the local minister. Casting Lane Chandler in the film is also a nod to Republic's serial in the 30's.

Clayton Moore was not in ZORRO'S FIGHTING LEGION, it was the GHOST OF ZORRO

I was gpoing to point that out, Leroy, but you beat me to it. Clayton waas also in several serials, both as a bad guy and a good guy.
Never depend on anything and you will never be disappointed.
