I see here in IMDb that in Canada the film had a running time of 144 mins while UK is 104 mins. Well, Warner just released this film on dvd in 2007 and the running time is 104mins. Does this means it's the UK cut version ?

There are several examples of these "ghost" long versions here at IMDb, certainly caused by people who failed simple maths...

Good spot. I thought an extra 40 minutes sounded suspicious. An extras 10 or even 20 minutes might be plausible, but 40 is like a whole extra story!
