Seriously, it seems to me that some people need to make some research before they condemn old movies.
The crows in "Dumbo" were among the few characters, who would be nice to Dumbo.
King Louie was not African-American, but he was based on the Italian-American voice actor Louie Prima.
"Song of the South" takes place after slavery was abolished, so no character in that movie was a slave.
Geesh...

I just watched this for the first time. Somehow all I could think is how a lot of people today let their dogs sleep with them in their beds. That aspect of them trying to make the dog sleep in a room by itself is outdated. Then again the dog catcher drove a horse drawn wagon. I'll admit the simese cats being voiced to sound Chinese is offensive by today's terms. But it didn't bother me as much as the Aunt hating dogs.
