Disney version

I had this movie recorded from the Disney Channel when I was a kid. I finally rented it from netflix yesterday. I was truly amazed by the scenes Disney left out. Actually, Disney cut about half f the movie or more, had a narrator, and was entitled "The Unicorn". The Python was introduced only in the final match, just as an opponent not a hated antagonist. The unicorn is presumed to have runaway after the match, not gotten sick and died. After all these years watching it again, and in full was fun, and took me back. I remember one time I had a dream that after the wrestling match, the NWO theme began in the background. Then Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Syxx, Buff Bagwell, Konnan, The Disciple, and NWO Sting came out and started beating the crap out of the defeated Python and Sam; while Joe, Sonia, and Kandinsky were screaming for help. Then a large NWO banner, letters white on black, came down and hung from the ceiling.

I think it's bizarre that disney show some pretty nasty stuff in their films and others they edit to kingdom come, some consistency would be nice but I guess each lot of editing is dependent on the era when they're shown.

I'm not surprised they cut bits out - the Python threatening to twist the 'unicorn's' head off - I'm a grown adult and that made me really uncomfortable. And then I was crying like a chump at the end, I somehow thought the little goat would get magically better after a nice nap.

Also some of the wrestling was a bit rougher than I was expecting from what seemed like a quite innocent movie at the start.
