what next?

I think there should have been a sequel-maybe a TV series.It seems that Andie and Doug were disappointed that Ted had become a smalltime crook rather than becoming a lawyer,politician-and big time crook!Surely he and Doug were both phonies and conmen in their own way.Although why did Ted and Angie look disapproving when Doug put lunch on expenses?And if Angie could have dinner with Madeleine and nothing happened,what was wrong with him?If it had been the originally planned sequel to On the Town,I expect Angie would've been played by Sinatra and a much bigger role!
