The Creature from the Black Lagoon, or It Came from Beneath the Sea? Mine is the first one. The octopus in the second movie did show up until half the movie.

There are merits to both films. The Creature has the greatest man-in-rubber-suit monster ever created, and created by a woman...Millicent Patrick. And I do enjoy watching it. But, because of my love for Ray Harryhausen's work, I like It Came from Beneath the sea better.
