I Watched 'It Came From Beneath The Sea' In Reverse! !

Year, about 1961: Mother makes little 11 year-old son go to community "summer recreation program" to get him out from under foot. We play whiffle ball and ping pong in the gym of the local middle school for several hours every day. Occasionally we see a movie in the 16 mm format. We see "It Came From Beneath The Sea". The projectionist does not know how to rewind the film, so shows the whole thing in reverse! People are uncrushed as giant octopus tentacles are peeled off the pavement. A giant octopus recreates San Francisco's Ferry Building from rubble and reconstructs the Golden Gate Bridge from twisted metal! Certainly the most memorable movie I have ever seen! I don't think that DVD or Blu-Ray technology allows movies to be played in reverse like that, but the effects can be hilarious!
