An hour into the movie, you got the newlywed Bordens' bedroom equipped with twin beds set about 7 feet apart. Where did Hollywood think babies came from?
shareThis was not unusual. My parents had twin beds for the first decade of their marriage, and I saw them in other married couples' bedrooms in the '50s and early '60s. Where do babies come from? The twin beds were for sleeping; there was nothing preventing amorous visits.
