Courtroom Error during Opening
The opening shows the murder of the woman with a Colt .45 Automatic which holds 7 rounds in the magazine and 1 in the chamber. Edwin G says she was killed with 6 shots from a .45 revolver!

shareNo, Edward G. said "one shot would have been sufficient - but six!" He didn't say it was a revolver, just the number of shots.
shareActually E.G.R. did say that she was killed with a revolver. Very strange, because just seconds before, the director made the point of showing us the gun (semi-auto) that the woman was shot with.
However....this could have been deliberate. Why? to show us how the whole case against the alleged killer was botched. Now how's that for a theory?
00:03:14,978 --> 00:03:17,913
This man, Edward Clary,
00:03:19,115 --> 00:03:22,482
who destroyed her with six shots from a. 45 revolver.
00:03:29,025 --> 00:03:34,053
Have you any idea of the fearful destructiveness of a. 45 at close range?
00:03:35,131 --> 00:03:37,326
One shot would have been sufficient.
00:03:37,901 --> 00:03:40,563
But six. Six.
Yep, he certainly did say 'revolver'. And to TC: It's Edward, not Edwin. Your error was worse than his... :P
