I was born in 1939 and did not see a lot of movies after the war. However, I shall never forget Liselotte Pulver, her hearty laughter and riding on the track and of course, I could never pronounce the name of the village no matter how much I practiced.

It has been fifty years since I saw the movie. Can anyone tell me where I can buy it or somehow obtain it?

Hi, the DVD is available in Germany on amazon.de. Also you can get of her "Das Wirtshaus im Spessart", "Uli der Knecht" and "Uli der Paechter" and her best movie "Kohlhiesel's Daughters". You can see in a double role.
