Missing Song from Film

Are you aware that Miss Hayward also filmed the great song "I'm Sitting On Top Of The World" in this film? She wore a stunning white dress and sat atop a spinning globe. What you never saw it? It was cut from the film but my sister found the photo in an old fan magazine. Wish that number could be restored to the new DVD.

That missing number is not included in the latest DVD of "I'll Cry Tomorrow". Was the film destroyed? Why wasn't it restored? I love the number "I'm Sittin' On Top of the World".

I have heard a recording of Hayward singing this but didn't know she filmed it, too. I prefer it to When the Red, Red Robin, which is similar in tone. Such a shame that it was cut!
