BBC2 yesterday = PURE BLISS

Saw this years ago when I was too young to appreciate but saw it yesterday, one of my new favourite films.

Jean & Marlon sizzled on screen, great musical numbers, fun, Sinatra's golden voice, what more can you ask for?

I saw Guys and Dolls yesterday too! What a treat, especially after Rock Around the Clock. Great programming from BBC 2 :-)

Me too, was the first time I watched it, had no idea Marlon Brando was in it lol

Did they also say that Frank Sinatra's character was supposed to be a teenager too, or early 20s? When he was actually 40!  people could pass for 20 years younger in those days?

BBC2's programming on Saturdays is excellent just now, particularly regarding the musicals they're showing. Lots of Fred Astaire. And Guys and Dolls is a gem. The Blu-ray of which is gorgeous.

I recorded it and just watched it today after missing when they showed it at Christmas last year and really liked it. I didn't know Frank was in it when it was on the last time but then I saw him in it and wished I had recorded it so was amazed when I found it repeated, had no clue Marlon Brando was in it too though.

I didn't watched Rock Around The Clock although I do like that song lol.

I never heard them say anything about Frank Sinatra meant to be that young, I doubt it.
