who taught Jean Simmons to throw punches for this movie?

I learned of this in Stewart Granger's auto-biography.
But the book is packed away. Drat!

I just grabbed the biography off my nightstand and I don't think he taught her, but the boxer mentioned is Jack Dempsey :)
