Jennifer Jones Dies At 90

I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Jennifer Jones this evening.
As far as I'm concerned, her best role was in "Good Morning, Miss Dove." Even though she was nominated for "Love is A Many Splendored Thing," that year, she should have been nominated for 'Dove,' since she conveyed the trials and tribulations of a spinster schoolteacher so eloquently in that fine film. She represented the quintessential American teacher for that period of time. What a remarkable performance she gave in this terribly under-rated film.
I hope that tcm will have a tribute to Jennifer Jones and that they will show this forgotten film-a real treasure!
