Yes, I can nitpick at a few things, but the film is enchanting. Caron has great chemistry with Wilding. Although he was too mature to play a young prince and not a dancer, they were lovely together.

Enchanting is the word for this charming film. Leslie Caron's waif Ella was amazing. Her startled "huh" & other asides under her breath when someone bellowed her name were adorable.
Estelle Winwood was excellent!

I remember seeing this as a kid and falling in love with this movie. I became a big fan of Leslie then. She was so pretty and I loved her dancing.
